Tết Festivals 2027 (Vietnamese New Year)
Lunar New Year's Day is Saturday, February 6, 2027, the start of the Year of the Goat.
Tết, short for Tết Nguyên Đán, is the Vietnamese Lunar New Year and Vietnam's most important holiday. Families honor their ancestors, decorate with peach or yellow ochna blossoms, share bánh chưng and give lucky money to children and elders.
The events below are Tết festivals hosted by Vietnamese American and Vietnamese Canadian communities. Learn more in our Tết guide.
