In 2026 the 52nd parade stepped off from the Millennium Gate on Sunday, February 22, run by the Chinese Benevolent Association of Vancouver. That same weekend, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and the Chinese Canadian Museum both celebrated in Chinatown.
Want lanterns? LunarFest Vancouver lit up spots across downtown, including Granville Island and the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza, from February 2 to March 9, 2026. In Richmond, Aberdeen Centre's Flower and Gift Fair ran from February 6 to 17, and Lansdowne Centre threw a dragon dance on February 21. The 2027 dates haven't been announced yet.
