You will probably hear it before you see it. The 2027 dates haven’t been announced yet; in 2026 it was held Sunday, March 1, starting from Phillips Square.
What to expect
The parade winds through Chinatown with lion dancers, drums and firecrackers. Afterward, the Cultural Village at the China Trade Center offers performances, music, arts and crafts, calligraphy and gifts, a good spot to warm up.
In 2025, held Sunday, February 9, the parade started at 10 a.m. and the Cultural Village opened at 11 a.m. The event is organized by Chinatown Main Street, the neighborhood’s Main Streets district organization.
